Nodes of gouty arthritis

Heberden and bouchard's nodes are the NEW OSTEOPHYTES of the afftected gouty arthritis joints that can be palpated.  (it is due to secondary osteoarthritis.)

HEBERDEN'S NODES- usually in distal interphalangeal joint
BOUCHARD'S NODES- in proximal interphalangeal joints
